Deciding On A Respray

Although only one panel needed new paint, it would have been near impossible to make it match with the rest of the car, so we decided to give it a complete respray. It was a difficult decision between preserving the originality and having a pristine looking car, but under going a proper job would just secure the future of the car and we would end up with a perfect, original looking example.

The car was stripped, glass removed and trailered off to the painters where it underwent a full respray. I popped down to check on the progress a few times and to see if there were any nasty surprises that would be uncovered along the way - fortunately, this was not the case.
