The engine was dropped back inside the bay and reconnected. It turned over freely and there were no hitches in the installation process.
The 130TCs were known to overheat, especially being cars that were typically pushed quite hard, so to combat this we had a custom made aluminium radiator which we designed to be slightly larger than the original. There was the nervous moment of fitting it where we hoped we had got our measurements right - fortunately we did. It slotted right into place, leaving enough space for the original air box to be refitted.
With the engine and radiator fitted, the car was able to start and run and so our attention turned to all the other niggly bits!
